FAQ — Private Tours from Milan

Does NexDriver organize restaurant bookings, winery visits, or museum tickets?
No. NexDriver provides the private driver and vehicle — we handle all the transport logistics and waiting time. Bookings for restaurants, wineries, museum tickets, or boat rides are arranged independently by the client. We are happy to advise on what to book, but we do not act as a tour operator.
How much does a full-day private driver from Milan cost?
Full-day private driver hire from Milan starts from € 220 for shorter trips (Monza) up to € 480+ for longer itineraries (Lugano). Pricing includes the driver, vehicle, fuel, motorway tolls, and waiting time during your stops. VAT included. We do not charge extra for waiting — your driver stays with you the whole day.
Can we customise the stops and timing?
Yes. Every tour is fully customisable. You choose the stops, the order, and the pace. If you want to spend 4 hours in Bellagio and skip Varenna, or add a stop at Villa del Balbianello, just tell us at booking. The itineraries on this page are suggested routes, not fixed programmes.
How many passengers can the vehicle accommodate?
Our standard vehicle is a Mercedes V-Class, which comfortably seats up to 6 passengers with luggage, or up to 7 without. For larger groups we can arrange multiple vehicles. All vehicles are air-conditioned, Wi-Fi equipped, and have USB charging.
Does the driver stay with us all day or leave and return?
Your driver stays with you the entire duration of the tour and waits at every stop at no extra charge. There is no taxi meter running — you have a fixed quoted price from the start. Your driver can also suggest the best local parking spots, viewpoints, or lunch options.
Are tours available in English?
Yes. Our drivers speak English and are familiar with the routes and destinations. They can answer general questions about the area, but they are professional drivers, not licensed tour guides. For in-depth historical commentary, we recommend pairing your trip with a local guide at the destination.
