What is an NCC, and how is it different from a taxi? +
NCC stands for noleggio con conducente: private hire with driver, regulated in Italy by Law 21/1992. Unlike a taxi it cannot be hailed: every journey is booked in advance, with one dedicated driver and vehicle for the whole trip and a fare agreed before departure rather than a running meter.
How long will the driver wait if my flight is delayed? +
We monitor your flight in real time by its number and wait up to 60 minutes past landing at no extra charge; for hotel pickups the free wait is 30 minutes. Drivers also arrive at least 15 minutes before any scheduled pickup, so a delay on your side does not turn into a missed transfer.
Is NexDriver a licensed and insured operator? +
Yes. NexDriver is a licensed private hire (NCC) operator registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Milan under VAT number IT14757040960. Every driver in the network holds a valid private-hire licence, current professional documentation and specific passenger transport insurance.
What does the agreed fare actually include? +
The agreed fare covers the driver, fuel, motorway tolls, ZTL charges, VAT and meet-and-greet with a name sign. There are no night supplements and no hidden costs: the price quoted before departure is the price paid.
